ccpi europe was founded in 1984 in the outskirts of sheffield, uk – known famously as “the steel city” thanks to its global reputation for steel production during the industrial revolution. with over 35 years of industry experience, we are the experts in the field of manufacturing and calibration of temperature sensors, working in partnership with our customers to ensure we exceed their expectations. our extensive product line and support have not only helped our customers improve the quality of their products, but our in-process solutions have helped them reduce both downtime and operational costs. our world class manufacturing facilities allow us to focus on lean manufacturing to provide high quality, reliability, accuracy and short turnaround times on bespoke products; provided at a competitive cost. the ”temperature technology centre” was officially opened by hrh duke of kent in 2009. the ccpi europe ukas accredited, fully-automated thermal calibration laboratory (no. 0600) (iso17025) is the leading facility in the field of temperature measurement in the uk. it is considered one of the best in europe and is capable of conducting the calibration of all the standard (and many non-standard) thermocouple types – and providing compliant calibration certification. in 2015, ccpi europe was purchased by the marmon group – a berkshire hathaway company. the marmon group is global industrial organisation with revenues exceeded $8.1 billion in 2018.
