Open Excel, go to Insert > Get Add-ins, and search for Tomba. Click Add and sign in with your Tomba account. Your API credentials are connected automatically.
Domain Search (find all emails from a domain), Email Finder (find email by name and domain), Email Verifier (verify any email), and Email Enrichment (get full contact profiles from an email).
Same as the web app. 1 credit per successful email found or verified. Failed lookups that return no results consume zero credits. Your Excel usage shares the same credit pool as your Tomba account.
Yes. The Tomba add-in works with Excel for the web, Excel desktop (Windows and Mac), and Microsoft 365. The same add-in adapts to each platform automatically.
You can process up to 500 rows per batch operation in Excel. For larger datasets, run multiple batches or use the Bulk API for up to 10,000 lookups per operation.
The add-in uses your plan's API limits: the email finder takes 1 request a second and 5 a day on the Free plan, up to 8 a second and 4,000 a day on Pro, and has no limit on Pro Plus and Scale. The add-in spaces its requests to stay inside them.
Yes. Team accounts let multiple users share credits and access the add-in with their own Microsoft accounts. Usage is tracked per user in the Tomba dashboard.
The add-in runs on-demand. For automated workflows, use the Tomba API with Power Automate or Zapier to push enriched data into Excel on a schedule.
