Search and verification credits are two separate monthly allowances. Each call is charged only when the condition beside it is met; errors, 429 and 451 responses and repeats within your usage window are free.

What you pay for
The rules every plan follows, as the usage and quotas docs state them.
Only results are charged
A request costs credits only when it succeeds and returns a result. Errors and rate-limited requests cost nothing.
Repeats are free
The same request sent again in the same usage window costs nothing and still returns the data. Email count, sources and bulk jobs are the exceptions.
Bounces come back
Report an address that hard-bounces. Once Tomba confirms the report, one search credit returns to your usage window.
Allowances renew
Plan credits renew at each billing date, or every 30 days on yearly, Free and Enterprise plans. Unused plan credits don’t carry over.
Packs last a year
Credit packs last 365 days from purchase, carry over between windows and are spent after your plan credits.
Two separate balances
Search credits and verification credits are separate allowances. One never pays for the other.

No. Sending the same request again within the same usage window costs nothing, and the response still returns the data. The rule is per user: two members of a workspace sending the same request are each charged.

Yes. Finder and verification credits are counted the same way whether you use the web app, API, browser extension, Google Sheets add-on, Microsoft Excel add-in, or any other Tomba product.
