(accessed from pedestal/chamber and house ingress in the case of the last drop). ~ injection fitting assemblies attached to both near and far end of the cable. ~ the patented fluid is pumped between core wrapping and outer jacket to lubricate and compress. ~ the hydraulic winch pulls the inner core from the outer jacket, or alternatively, the cable core can be pressed out under the fluid pressure. ~ mini-ducts and/or fibres are either pulled through during core extraction, or inserted into the empty cable jacket post-extraction. fast2fibre provides cost- effective extraction of copper cable from the outer jacket, making it ready for the insertion of new fibre- optics. ~ faster – reduce the need to dig trenches and infill. ~ cost- effective – add value to capital investment by improved labour productivity and reduced use of heavy equipment. ~ greener – lighten your carbon footprint by reducing time and disruption of excavating trenches, recycling redundant copper and reusing the outer cable jacket.
