How do I install the Tomba Google Sheets add-on?

Open Google Sheets, go to Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons, and search for Tomba. Click Install and authorize with your Tomba account. Your API key is connected automatically.

What functions does the add-on provide?

Domain Search (find all emails from a domain), Email Finder (find email by name and domain), Email Verifier (verify any email), and Email Enrichment (get full contact profiles from an email).

How are credits calculated in Google Sheets?

Same as the web app. 1 credit per successful email found or verified. Failed lookups that return no results consume zero credits. Your Sheets usage shares the same credit pool as your Tomba account.

Is there a row limit for bulk processing?

You can process up to 500 rows per batch operation. For larger datasets, run multiple batches or use the Bulk API for up to 10,000 lookups per operation.

What is the rate limit in Google Sheets?

The add-on uses your plan's API limits: the email finder takes 1 request a second and 5 a day on the Free plan, up to 8 a second and 4,000 a day on Pro, and has no limit on Pro Plus and Scale. The add-on spaces its requests to stay inside them.

Can multiple team members use the same account?

Yes. Team accounts let multiple users share credits and access the add-on with their own Google accounts. Usage is tracked per user in the Tomba dashboard.

Does the add-on work with Google Sheets on mobile?

The add-on works in the desktop web version of Google Sheets. Mobile access is not currently supported due to Google's add-on platform limitations.

Can I automate recurring searches in Sheets?

Yes. Combine the Tomba add-on with Google Apps Script or triggers to run domain searches or verifications on a schedule. You can also use Zapier or Make to push data into Sheets automatically.
