2022: Crawler at Scale & API Launch
Scaled the web crawler to index millions of domains. Launched the REST API, Chrome extension, and domain search our first public-facing products.

2022 was the year Tomba went from prototype to product. We scaled our crawler, launched the API, and shipped our first tools to real users.

- Web Crawler v2 Scaled to crawl hundreds of millions of pages monthly, discovering email addresses across company websites, social profiles, and public directories
- REST API Launch Released the Tomba REST API with endpoints for domain search, email finder, and email verifier. Full documentation and API key authentication
- Domain Search Find all email addresses associated with any company domain. Returns employee names, job titles, departments, and verified emails
- Email Finder Locate a specific person's professional email using their name and company domain
- Email Verifier Real-time email verification with SMTP handshake, MX record checks, and deliverability scoring
