Charged when: An address is returned with a status other than unknown; 6 search credits instead of 1 with phone data (enrich_mobile).
Errors, 429 and 451 responses, and the same request again within your usage window cost nothing.

Tomba.io found 4,015 valid emails from 5,000 leads: #1 of 9 tools tested.
Tomba’s own test, February 2026. One file of 5,000 leads, 2,500 with the company website and 2,500 with only the company name, ran through each tool with no manual cleanup. Only addresses a tool labelled valid or verified count; percentages are of the 2,500 inputs of each kind.

What comes back with every address
One search returns more than an email: the checks, the sources and the person behind it.
Verified before you send
Each address comes back with its verification status and a score from 0 to 100, on the same search credit.
Sources and dates
See the public pages where Tomba found the address, with the dates it was first and last seen.
Catch-all domains flagged
Addresses on servers that accept every mailbox are marked accept_all, never passed off as valid.
The person behind it
Name, position, department and LinkedIn profile come with the address.
Phone numbers on request
Add enrich_mobile to get the person's phone numbers in the same call, when Tomba has them.
Nothing found, nothing charged
A search that finds no address, or only an unknown one, uses no credit.
