LionDesk Alternatives: 7 Real Estate CRMs Worth Switching To in 2026
LionDesk was shut down in 2025. Here are the seven LionDesk alternatives former users actually move to, compared on price, texting, lead routing and migration effort, plus how to clean your contact list before you import it.

TL;DR
- LionDesk is gone. Lone Wolf Technologies wound it down in 2025 and kept it running only through September so users could migrate. If you're still looking for a new CRM, you're choosing under pressure.
- Lone Wolf Relationships is the default path because migration is supported and pricing is close to LionDesk's. Follow Up Boss is the most common choice for teams, Wise Agent is the cheapest like-for-like option for solo agents, and Lofty, BoldTrail and Real Geeks make sense if you also want IDX websites and paid lead generation.
- Budget varies a lot: roughly $42/mo for Wise Agent on annual billing, $69/user/mo for Follow Up Boss Grow, and $299 to $1,500/mo for the all-in-one platforms.
- Before you import anything, dedupe and verify your exported contacts. Years of stale addresses in a new CRM will hurt deliverability in the first month.
What happened to LionDesk?#
LionDesk was one of the most popular budget CRMs in real estate. It was cheap, it bundled texting and video email, and it was easy enough for a solo agent to set up over a weekend. Lone Wolf Technologies bought it in 2021. In May 2025 the company announced it would wind LionDesk down, and the platform stayed up only through September 2025.
Lone Wolf CEO Jimmy Kelly said LionDesk's technical foundation couldn't scale to fit the company's longer-term plans. Users were offered accounts on Lone Wolf Relationships, a newer CRM that's part of Lone Wolf's Foundation platform, with full migration support.
So when people search for "LionDesk alternatives" in 2026, they're usually in one of three situations:
- They migrated to Relationships and aren't sure it fits.
- They exported a CSV in a hurry and have been working out of spreadsheets since.
- They're agents or team leads who used LionDesk years ago and want something similar.
This guide covers all three.
What should you look for in a LionDesk replacement?#
LionDesk users picked it for a specific mix of features. When you evaluate a replacement, judge it on the things you actually used, not on the vendor's demo. These five criteria matter most:
- Built-in texting and calling. LionDesk bundled SMS, and many agents ran their whole follow-up process through it. Check whether texting is included or a paid add-on (Follow Up Boss charges extra for calling on Grow; Wise Agent charges for SMS).
- Drip campaigns and action plans. You need automated sequences for new leads, past clients and sphere nurture. Most of your LionDesk value probably sat in these, and they rarely import cleanly.
- Lead routing from portals. If Zillow, Realtor.com or your IDX site sends leads, the CRM needs native parsing and round-robin or pond-style routing.
- Price per seat as you grow. A $30 solo plan can turn into $400+/mo once you add three agents and an ISA. Model the cost at your team size 12 months from now.
- Migration effort. Contact import is easy. Notes, tags, pipeline stages and campaign history usually aren't. Ask each vendor what they migrate for you and what you'll have to rebuild.
Which LionDesk alternatives are worth considering?#
Here's the shortlist, based on what former LionDesk users actually switch to, public pricing, and review patterns on Capterra and G2.
| CRM | Starting price (2026) | Best for | Texting included | IDX website | Migration help |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lone Wolf Relationships | ~$25–33/mo | Former LionDesk users who want least disruption | Yes | Via Lone Wolf ecosystem | Full, official path |
| Follow Up Boss | $69/user/mo (Grow) | Teams with lots of portal leads | Pro plan and up; add-on on Grow | No (integrates) | Import tools + support |
| Wise Agent | $49/mo ($499/yr) | Solo agents on a budget | Paid add-on | Basic | Import support |
| Lofty | ~$449/mo+ | Teams wanting CRM + IDX + ads | Yes | Yes | Onboarding team |
| BoldTrail (kvCORE) | Quote; reported ~$499/mo solo | Brokerages standardizing on one platform | Yes | Yes | Onboarding team |
| Real Geeks | ~$299/mo+ | Agents buying paid leads + IDX | Yes | Yes | Onboarding team |
| HubSpot Free CRM | $0 (paid hubs extra) | Agents with a B2B side (commercial, relocation) | No (via integrations) | No | Self-serve import |
Pricing is based on public listings and third-party pricing trackers as of mid-2026. Real estate CRM vendors change bundles often, so confirm a quote before you sign.
1. Lone Wolf Relationships: the path of least resistance#
If you just want to keep working, start here. Relationships is Lone Wolf's official successor, pricing was positioned close to LionDesk's (LionDesk started around $25/mo), and the migration team moves your contacts for you. It also connects to the rest of Lone Wolf's tools (transactions, back office), which matters if your brokerage already uses them.
Watch out for: It's a newer product. Some LionDesk power users say campaign building and reporting feel less mature. Test your three most important drip campaigns before you commit.
2. Follow Up Boss: the team favorite#
Follow Up Boss is the CRM most teams move to when they outgrow budget tools. Lead routing from 250+ sources, action plans, smart lists and a clean mobile app explain why. Grow is $69/user/mo on monthly billing. Pro is about $416/mo on annual billing and includes 10 users plus unlimited US/Canada calling and texting. Platform is about $833/mo annually for 30 users.
Watch out for: Grow doesn't include calling (FUB Calling is an extra $39/user/mo), and there's no permanent free plan. For a solo agent paying LionDesk prices, that's a big jump.
3. Wise Agent: the closest budget match#
Wise Agent is the most direct replacement if LionDesk's appeal was price. It's $49/mo, $69/mo with the WiseSocial bundle, or $499/year (about $42/mo). You get contact management, drip campaigns, transaction management and landing pages in one place.
Watch out for: SMS costs extra ($11/mo plus an $80 setup fee), and extra logins are $20/mo each. The UI looks dated next to Follow Up Boss.
4. Lofty: CRM plus website plus lead gen#
Lofty (formerly Chime) bundles an AI-assisted CRM, an IDX website and ad management. The core plan starts around $449/mo, and enterprise tiers reach about $1,500/mo. That makes sense if you were running LionDesk plus a separate IDX site plus a Facebook ads freelancer.
Watch out for: You're paying for lead generation. If most of your business comes from referrals and your sphere, much of Lofty will go unused.
5. BoldTrail (formerly kvCORE): the brokerage platform#
BoldTrail, from Inside Real Estate, is often chosen by the brokerage rather than the agent. It doesn't publish fixed pricing. Third-party sources report around $499/mo for a solo agent plan and $750/mo for teams. If your broker already provides it, that's often the cheapest option in practice.
Watch out for: It has a steep learning curve and a lot of modules. Agents who liked LionDesk's simplicity often find it overwhelming.
6. Real Geeks: for agents who buy leads#
Real Geeks combines an IDX site, a CRM and a managed lead-generation service. Plans start around $299/mo, with extra users at about $25/mo each. The CRM is solid but secondary. You're really buying the lead engine.
Watch out for: Custom pricing across the Establish, Grow, Expand and Conquer tiers makes it hard to compare. Get the full quote in writing.
7. HubSpot Free CRM: when your pipeline isn't only residential#
HubSpot isn't a real estate CRM, and you'll miss portal lead parsing. But if you work commercial deals, corporate relocation or investor relationships, a generic B2B CRM often fits better than a residential one. The free tier covers contacts, deals and email tracking. Tomba's HubSpot integration can enrich new contacts with verified work emails as you add them.
Is Follow Up Boss better than Lone Wolf Relationships?#
For teams, usually yes. For solo agents, it depends on budget.
| Factor | Lone Wolf Relationships | Follow Up Boss |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | ~$25–33/mo | $69/user/mo |
| LionDesk migration | Official, assisted | Self-serve + support |
| Lead routing | Basic–moderate | Best-in-class |
| Calling/texting | Included | Add-on on Grow, included on Pro |
| Ecosystem | Lone Wolf transactions + back office | 250+ integrations |
| Best fit | Solo agents, Lone Wolf brokerages | Teams of 3+ with portal leads |
If you receive more than about 30 portal leads a month and have more than one person working them, Follow Up Boss's routing and accountability features usually pay for themselves. If you mostly nurture your sphere and close 10 to 20 deals a year, Relationships or Wise Agent will do the job for a third of the cost.
How do you migrate off LionDesk without losing leads?#
This is where most switches go wrong. A CRM is only as good as the contacts in it, and a LionDesk export from an account that's been running since 2018 has a lot of bad data.
Step 1: Export everything. That means contacts, tags, notes and pipeline stages. If you moved to Relationships first, export from there too, so you have the most recent copy.
Step 2: Deduplicate. LionDesk accounts collected duplicates from portal leads, open houses and manual entry. Run the file through a remove duplicates pass before import, or you'll pay per-contact fees on some platforms for the same person twice.
Step 3: Verify email addresses. Past clients change jobs, ISPs shut down legacy domains, and portal leads type fake addresses. If you import 5,000 contacts and blast a "we've moved" newsletter, a 10% bounce rate can damage your sending domain in the first week. Run the list through an email verifier and suppress anything invalid or risky.
Step 4: Fill the gaps. For commercial and referral contacts (lenders, property managers, relocation directors, attorneys), you often have a name and a company but no working email. That's a good use for an email finder: enter the name and company domain and you get a verified professional address. It won't help with consumer Gmail leads, and it isn't meant to.
Step 5: Rebuild campaigns, don't import them. Drip sequences almost never transfer cleanly. Rebuild your three highest-value campaigns first (new lead, past client, sphere nurture) and leave the rest for later.
What does it really cost to switch?#
The subscription price is only part of the cost. Budget for:
- Overlap months. You may pay for two systems for 30 to 60 days while you rebuild campaigns.
- Texting and calling add-ons. These are the most common surprise line item, especially on Follow Up Boss Grow and Wise Agent.
- Per-seat creep. Model the cost at your team size a year from now.
- Data cleanup. It's cheap compared with a burned sending domain. Tomba's free tier covers 25 searches a month, and paid Tomba plans start at $49/mo for bulk verification and finding. You'd typically need that for one or two months during a migration.
- Your time. Plan on 10 to 20 hours to rebuild tags, stages and campaigns properly.
For a comparison of CRMs beyond real estate, G2's CRM category is a useful cross-check on review volume and satisfaction scores.
Which LionDesk alternative should you choose?#
Short version:
- Solo agent, tight budget, want it done this week: Lone Wolf Relationships or Wise Agent.
- Team of 3+ working portal leads: Follow Up Boss.
- You want CRM, website and ads from one vendor: Lofty or Real Geeks.
- Your brokerage runs on one platform: BoldTrail, especially if the broker pays for it.
- Commercial, relocation or investor-heavy business: HubSpot Free CRM plus an enrichment tool.
Whichever you pick, the CRM won't fix a bad contact list. The agents who come out of this migration ahead treat it as a chance to clean their data, not just move it.
Ready to start your new CRM with clean data?#
Before you import your LionDesk export into Follow Up Boss, Wise Agent or any other CRM, run it through Tomba. The Tomba Email Finder fills in missing professional emails for your referral partners, lenders and commercial contacts from just a name and company domain. The built-in verifier flags bad addresses before they hurt your sender reputation. Start with the free tier's 25 monthly searches, and upgrade to Starter at $49/mo if you have a full database to clean.
