How a bulk job runs

The same four steps in the app and over the API.

  1. 01

    Create

    POST a list, rows or a CSV of up to 4 MB to /v1/bulk/{type}, or upload the file in the app.

  2. 02

    Launch

    Set launch: true, or launch it later. Tomba checks you have the credits the job needs.

  3. 03

    Follow

    Poll its progress, or receive a signed bulk.completed event at your webhook_url.

  4. 04

    Download

    Get the results as CSV. The job is charged once, at the first download, and expires after 180 days.

What to plan for

Bulk jobs aren't subject to the plan rate limits; they have their own, per workspace.

  • Jobs created: 15 per day for each type
  • Running jobs: 2 per type
  • Downloads: 25 per day for each job
  • Request size: 4 MB (CSV, list or rows)
  • Charged once, at the first download; later downloads are free
