Leadstal Pricing and Reviews: Honest 2026 Pros and Cons

Looking for Leadstal pricing and reviews before you buy? Here's what each plan costs, what users say, and where the tool falls short.

TL;DR

  • Leadstal is a budget lead-scraping suite. It pulls business contacts from Google Maps, Instagram, Zillow, Clutch, G2 and TripAdvisor, and it also has an email finder, an email validator and AI cold email.
  • Pricing runs in four tiers: a Free plan (about 20 credits/month), Standard (about $9.99–$14.99/mo), Business (about $32–$47/mo) and Premium (about $240–$250/mo). Credit packs start at $5 and don't expire.
  • Independent reviews are scarce. G2 had no written reviews for Leadstal's validator when we checked, so you're mostly relying on the vendor's own claims.
  • Leadstal is a good fit for local-business and SMB lists built on a tight budget. It's a weaker fit for B2B teams that need verified decision-maker emails, catch-all handling and CRM integrations.
  • If named-contact accuracy matters more than raw scraping volume, a dedicated email finder like Tomba (Starter $49/mo) usually costs less per reply.

What is Leadstal?#

Leadstal (leadstal.com) is a lead generation platform built around scrapers. Most B2B email finders start from a company domain and a person's name. Leadstal starts from public directories, mainly Google Maps listings, social profiles and review sites, and pulls out whatever contact data those pages expose: business emails, phone numbers, websites and social handles.

Over time it added more standard tools on top: a name-plus-company email finder, a standalone email validator (listed separately on G2 and Capterra), and an AI cold-email sender. Its homepage pitch is "find unlimited free B2B emails/leads," and many of its scraping tools really are free to use at low volume.

Think of it like a wholesale warehouse. You get a lot of stock cheaply, but you sort it yourself. A precision email finder works more like a specialist shop: less volume, more checking before anything reaches your hands.

What does Leadstal actually do?#

Before comparing prices, it helps to know what you're buying. Leadstal's features fall into five groups:

  1. Directory scrapers. Google Maps, Bing Maps, Instagram, Zillow, Clutch, G2 and TripAdvisor extractors. These are the core product and the main reason people sign up.
  2. Google Search email scraper. Runs a query and collects email addresses from the pages that come back. It's useful for niche lists but noisy, because it picks up generic inboxes like info@ and contact@.
  3. Email finder. Takes a first name, last name and company and returns a likely professional email. This is the closest match to what Tomba, Hunter or Snov do.
  4. Email validator. Checks syntax, MX records and mailbox response before you send. It's sold both inside the suite and as its own product listing.
  5. AI cold email. Writes and sends outreach from the platform. Paid tiers are needed for high-volume campaigns.

If your pipeline is "find every dentist in Austin and email the practice," Leadstal is built for you. If it's "find the VP of Finance at 400 SaaS companies," the scrapers matter much less and the email finder has to do all the work.

How much does Leadstal cost in 2026?#

Leadstal's public pricing has moved around, and third-party directories show different numbers. The official pricing page currently advertises "plans from $9.99/mo," while some listing sites still show a $14.99 Standard tier and a $47 Business tier. The table below gives the ranges we found. Check the live page before you buy.

Plan Monthly price Credits Best for
Free $0 ~20 credits/month Testing the scrapers
Standard ~$9.99–$14.99/mo ~2,800 credits/month Freelancers, small local lists
Business ~$32–$47/mo ~10,000 credits/month Agencies scraping several niches
Premium ~$240–$250/mo Marketed as unlimited High-volume scraping + AI campaigns
Credit packs From $5 (one-time) Never expire Occasional, bursty usage

How do Leadstal credits work?#

Leadstal says one credit equals one valid lead, meaning you're charged for results rather than for searches. That's a buyer-friendly model on paper. In practice, you need to check how "valid" is defined. A scraped info@ address from a Maps listing can pass a mailbox check and still never reach a decision-maker.

Are there hidden costs?#

None that we found in the plan terms. The practical costs are elsewhere:

  • Cleanup time. Scraped lists need deduplication, role-address filtering and enrichment before they're usable for B2B outbound.
  • Re-verification. If you export to a separate sending tool, most teams re-verify with a second email verifier to protect their sender domain. That second pass costs extra.
  • Tier jumps for AI email. The free tools really are free, but sending volume and AI campaigns are gated behind paid plans, and the jump from Business to Premium is large (roughly 5x).

What do Leadstal reviews say?#

The honest answer is: not much. That's a finding in its own right.

  • On G2, the Email Validator by Leadstal listing showed no written reviews when we checked.
  • On Capterra, the Leadstal Email Validator has a listing (Capterra Canada), but review volume is too low to average reliably.
  • SourceForge and SaaS directories such as SaaSworthy list the product. Their content is mostly feature and pricing summaries, not verified user experiences.

Most of what's out there comes from Leadstal's own blog or from competitors reviewing it. Neither source is neutral. So instead of reporting a star rating we can't back up, here is what we observed from the product's structure and published limits.

What users tend to like#

  • The low entry price. A sub-$15 paid tier is rare in this category.
  • Free scrapers. Being able to pull a Google Maps list for a local niche without a card on file lowers the barrier a lot.
  • Credit packs that don't expire. This helps agencies with uneven, project-based demand.
  • Breadth of sources. Few tools scrape Zillow, Clutch and TripAdvisor side by side.

What users tend to flag#

  • Generic inboxes. Directory scraping returns many role-based addresses (info@, hello@, sales@), and these reply poorly in cold outreach.
  • Thin B2B person data. The scrapers are built around businesses, not people. Job titles, seniority and department filters are limited compared with a B2B contact database.
  • Few independent reviews. Buyers usually want reviews on G2 or Capterra before they approve a vendor. Leadstal doesn't have many yet.
  • Unclear accuracy benchmarks. We found no published, third-party accuracy test for Leadstal's email finder.

What are the pros and cons of Leadstal?#

Here are the pros and cons side by side.

Pros Cons
Paid plans start around $10/mo Pricing differs across sources, so check before buying
Many scrapers usable free at low volume Output skews toward role-based, generic emails
Credits count valid leads, not searches "Valid" isn't the same as "reaches a decision-maker"
Non-expiring credit packs from $5 Premium tier is a steep jump (~$240+)
Scrapes Maps, Instagram, Zillow, Clutch, G2 Limited title/seniority filtering for B2B
Built-in validator and AI cold email Almost no verified third-party reviews

How accurate is Leadstal compared with dedicated email finders?#

Accuracy is where a scraper and an email finder differ most. A scraper reports what a web page says. An email finder works out and checks what one person's mailbox is. These are different jobs. The second one decides if your email reaches the VP or lands in a shared inbox.

A few things decide real-world accuracy, whichever tool you use:

  • Pattern detection. Does the tool learn a company's email format (first.last@, f.last@) from confirmed addresses, or does it guess?
  • SMTP verification. Does it check the mailbox exists before charging you?
  • Catch-all handling. On catch-all domains, the server accepts every address, so a plain check says "valid" even for addresses that don't exist. Dedicated tools add a catch-all verifier layer for this. Budget scrapers usually don't.
  • Data freshness. People change jobs often, so a contact record ages quickly. How often a tool re-checks its records matters more than how many records it claims.

Leadstal publishes no independent accuracy figures for its email finder. Until it does, treat its person-level results as unverified. Run them through a validator before any campaign that matters to your domain reputation.

Is Leadstal better than Tomba?#

It depends on the list you're building. For local-business scraping, Leadstal is cheaper and more direct. For named B2B decision-makers, Tomba is the stronger tool. Here's how they compare:

Attribute Leadstal Tomba
Core approach Directory and web scraping Domain + name email finding with verification
Free tier ~20 credits/month 25 searches/month
Entry paid plan ~$9.99–$14.99/mo Starter $49/mo
Mid tier ~$32–$47/mo Growth $99/mo
Top self-serve tier ~$240–$250/mo Pro $249/mo (Enterprise custom)
Google Maps / local scraping Yes, a core strength Not the focus
Domain search (all emails at a company) Limited Yes, via domain search
Catch-all verification Not advertised Dedicated catch-all verifier
Phone finder / enrichment Phones from listings Phone finder, phone validator, data enrichment
API and integrations Basic API, CLI, MCP, Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier
Independent reviews Very few Established presence on review sites

Where Leadstal wins: price per raw lead, local and SMB niches, and scraping sources other tools ignore. If you run an agency selling to restaurants, realtors or clinics, Leadstal's Maps and Zillow scrapers do things a B2B email finder won't.

Where Tomba wins: finding a specific person's verified work email, handling catch-all domains, and fitting into a real sales stack through its API and CRM integrations. At $49/mo, Tomba's Starter plan costs more upfront. For B2B outbound, though, cost per verified email and cost per reply matter more than cost per row.

Who should buy Leadstal, and who should skip it?#

Leadstal makes sense if you:

  • Sell to local businesses (home services, hospitality, real estate, healthcare practices) where the business inbox is the buyer.
  • Need big, cheap lists and are happy to clean them yourself.
  • Have uneven demand and like the idea of non-expiring $5 credit packs.
  • Want to test lead scraping for free before paying anything.

Skip it, or pair it with something else, if you:

  • Sell to mid-market or enterprise accounts where the buyer is a named person with a title.
  • Send enough cold email that one bad list could damage your sender reputation.
  • Need CRM sync, an API with clear rate limits, or enrichment fields like seniority and department.
  • Have to get a vendor approved through procurement, which usually wants G2 or Capterra reviews you can point to.

A common hybrid setup: use a scraper to find companies at the top of the funnel. Then run each company domain through a dedicated email finder to get the actual decision-maker, and verify before sending.

How do you evaluate Leadstal before paying?#

Don't trust any take on Leadstal pricing and reviews, including this one, over your own test. Here's a 30-minute check:

  1. Pull 50 leads from your real ICP on the Free plan. Use your actual target segment, not a demo query.
  2. Count role-based addresses. If more than a third are info@ or contact@, the list is a poor fit for person-level cold outreach.
  3. Run the same 50 companies through a second tool. Compare how many named decision-makers each returns.
  4. Verify everything with an independent verifier. Note the share of valid, invalid, catch-all and unknown results.
  5. Work out cost per usable contact, not cost per credit. Divide the plan price by the number of verified, named, in-ICP emails.

Step 5 usually settles it. A $10 plan returning 30 generic inboxes can cost more per usable contact than a $49 plan returning verified VPs.

What's the final verdict on Leadstal pricing and reviews?#

Leadstal is honestly priced for what it is: a low-cost, multi-source lead scraper with a free tier and non-expiring credit packs. For local-business prospecting and agency list-building, it's good value. Nothing else on the market scrapes quite this many directories this cheaply.

It isn't a like-for-like replacement for a B2B email finder. Prices vary across sources. Independent reviews are close to nonexistent. And there's no published accuracy data for person-level emails. If your revenue depends on reaching named decision-makers, budget for a tool built for that job.

Ready to find verified decision-maker emails instead of generic inboxes?#

If your outbound targets specific people at specific companies, not whoever reads the shared inbox, try the Tomba Email Finder. Enter a name and a company domain. You get a verified work email with its source and a confidence score, and catch-all checks run before it touches your sending domain. Start on the free tier with 25 searches a month. Then compare Tomba pricing against your cost per usable contact from Leadstal. That comparison should make the choice clear.
